The Illinois Nurse Aide Competency Exam is a pass or fail exam. The cut-off score for the pass or fail result is information that cannot be released according to the agreement between the Illinois Department of Public Health and Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
Nurse aide examination results letters are mailed to students approximately two to three weeks after all test materials have been received from each test site. Information should be available on the Illinois Health Care Worker Registry approximately two weeks after testing. Registry status may be verified through the Illinois Health Care Worker Registry website.
