When applying for a Massachusetts CNA license they seem to want one to show that one is still working in ones old state.

Even though there is an employment section on the CNA reciprocity application for Massachusetts, employment information is not necessary. You may apply for reciprocity even if you are unemployed at this time as long as you are active and in good standing on your home state registry.
