Newly trained nursing assistants who wish to become listed on the CNA registry must pass both the written and the clinical portions of the nurse aide exam. The test results are submitted to the state no longer than a week after you take the exam. The Indiana nurse aide registry may require between eight to ten weeks to update their records and mail you a nurse aide license.
