The written part of the nurse aide certification exam has fifty multiple-choice questions. To pass the exam you need a score of at least seventy percent. It usually takes about three weeks to process each test candidate's results. Written notification is sent only when one fails the exam. Each candidate is given three chances to pass the written examination. If you fail the written part three times then you must complete a new nurse aide training course before retaking the Nebraska certification exam.
