Failure to apply for license renewal results in losing your right to work as a licensed nurse aide. Your registry status changes from active to inactive and you are ineligible to function as a nurse aide in New Hampshire. Even if your license status is expired, the New Hampshire Board of Nursing will always keep your name on file. If you wish to reinstate your nurse aide license in the future, you must meet continuing competence requirements.
