How do you go about getting an interpreter during the exam and possibly for the CNA classes as well?

As far as I know you can’t have someone translate for you in class or when taking the exam since you have to be able to communicate with the people you care for. Most CNA training programs and testing facilities do provide appropriate accommodations to individuals with documented disabilities who demonstrate a need for accommodations. Test accommodations may include things such as a separate testing room, extra testing time or a reader or recorder, for individuals with mobility or vision impairments and cannot read or write on their own. Test accommodations are individualized and considered on a case-by-case basis and candidates who are requesting accommodations because of a disability must provide appropriate documentation of their condition and how it is expected to affect their ability to take the test under standard conditions.
