Approved nurse aide training programs in the District of Columbia must have a total of one hundred and twenty (120) hours of instruction. CNA courses need to provide the following: forty-five (45) hours of classroom instruction, thirty (30) hours of clinical laboratory practice, and forty-five (45) hours of hands-on clinical practice in a nursing home.
