Nurse aide employers must inform the Indiana Nurse Aide Registry that each CNA employee worked for pay, at least eight hours in the past two years at their licensed health care facility, home health agency, or hospice. A nurse aide who has not worked for at least eight hours every two years will lose her certification. Providers are sent yearly reminders by mail to report that their nursing assistant employees have met the renewal requirements.
