Can you give us more details about what happened and the state where you are licensed? Did you get a chance to contest the allegations? As far as I know, at least in some states, once the letter is issued you cannot appeal it. In any case, any advice you might get online is no substitute for a competent attorney who understands your case and can present it effectively and convincingly when your license or chances of being hired are on the line. If you have malpractice insurance call them up, tell them what happened and ask for an attorney to help you.
