In DC, what happens if I didn't work as a CNA for more than two years?

A certified nursing assistant who has not been employed as a nurse aide, for pay, for more than twenty-four months, loses his or her right to work as a CNA. The person has to retrain and retest in order to reactivate their lapsed certification.
