Failure to pass the criminal background check results in being disqualified for employment. Individuals who have been found guilty of the following actions are automatically disqualify from working as a certified nursing assistant in Delaware: felony theft, drug and violent offenses, any offense involving patients and other vulnerable people. Even conviction of some lesser offenses can lead to disqualification.
