Employers must verify the Nursing Assistant Registry before allowing someone to work as a certified nurse aide. Potential employers must perform registry verification in all the states where the individual is or was certified. If you have negative findings listed against you on any state's nurse aide registry, you do not qualify to work or even volunteer as a nursing assistant in a certified Missouri facility.
