You are listed on the registry automatically if you get your license in Nebraska. A nurse aide certified in another state who wants to work in Nebraska, needs to be listed on the Nebraska Nurse Aide Registry if she is going to seek employment in a certified nursing facility. It takes approximately two weeks to process a transfer application. The transfer process, also known as endorsement of a certification, requires completing a form and attaching copies of specific documents. Contact the Nebraska Nurse Aide Registry to find out additional information regarding the transfer of your nurse aide certification.
