Can a license be reinstated in by paying additional fees?

In the state of Idaho, if a CNA certification is allowed to lapse, can it be reinstated within a certain grace period or by paying additional fees or under other conditions? If so, how can it be reinstated?

As far as I know once you have a lapsed certification the only way to reactivate your status is by retaking the CNA exam but to to make sure if there is a grace period for renewing a lapsed CNA certification or not call the Idaho Nurse Aide Registry hotline at (800) 748-2480 or locally at (208) 334-6620. Leave a clear message with the correct spelling of your full name and phone number as well as the reason for calling the registry. A staff member will call you back within two to three days.
