A nursing assistant trained in a state other than Connecticut is allowed to sit for the certification exam if the CNA program attended was at least one hundred hours long and if the person graduated within the last twenty-four months. Candidates need to make a copy of the certificate of program completion and mail it to Prometric along with the exam application form.
