Do I need to take a refresher course?

I currently reside in my home state of Kansas. Years ago I became a CNA. My credentials are no longer on the Kansas Registry of CNAs. I've questioned many times where do I begin. Either I take a refresher course of 10 hours or find a facility that does an on the job 40 hour check list. I'm having a very difficult time finding a list of facilities that do this, any ideas? I'm trying to return to this career.

There are several community colleges that offer state-approved CNA refresher courses in Kansas. The nursing assistant refresher classes are all ten hours long. You may choose the refresher program offered at one of the following schools: Garden Community College, Johnson Community College, Pratt Community College, Salina Area Tech College, Washburn Tech, and Midwestern College. Most of them have classes starting soon.
