I am interested in registering for the CNA program at your facility. I have two questions:

  1. Who is certified to teach your CNA courses? It is my understanding that only registered nurses (RN) are qualified to teach CNA courses. I would like to know, who teaches CNA programs. Is it an RN?

  2. Accreditation by the state: are you accredited for the CNA program? And what does your accreditation require of you in terms of qualified instructor? Do they have be an RN? I am just curious because I would like to learn it from a qualified instructor, and not for example an LVN.

Thank you in advance for your response.

This website has a directory of schools and facilities with state-approved CNA training classes throughout the United States. If you are interested in this profession you may use the website to locate schools and programs in your state. You can start your search here: CNA Classes by State by selecting your state from the table or map. You need to contact an actual school to ask questions regarding instructor qualifications, admission criteria as well as length and cost of the CNA program.
