Can I take the CNA exam without taking classes?

I am an RN from India planning to study for RN here. I would like to know if I am allowed to challenge the CNA board.

Yes, if you are enrolled in an RN or LPN program and have successfully completed a Fundamentals of Nursing course that included a clinical rotation. In some states, you may be allowed to challenge the CNA exam based on your RN degree from India but the requirements differ from state to state in this case. You should contact the CNA registry for the state you are interested in for a definitive answer.
